Donate to The Trevor Project and Support LGBTQ Youth Crisis Intervention
What is The Trevor Project?
The Trevor Project is standing in the gap, as LGBTQ youth are at heightened risks and vulnerabilities due to identity-based oppression.
According to The Trevor Project, “Each episode of LGBT victimization, such as physical or verbal harassment or abuse, increases the likelihood of self-harming behavior by 2.5 times on average”
With 24-hour crisis line support, a chat line, and online resources, The Trevor Project is working hard to support LGBTQ youth.
Now it’s our turn to step up and help too.

For $30 your gift will allow a crisis counselor to talk to an individual in crisis for 30 minutes.
A gift of $60 allows the crisis lines to stay open for almost an hour.
Giving $120 allows for a crisis counselor to work an entire shift.
Giving $250 helps The Trevor Project continue to train counselors to be there when they’re needed most.
But, most importantly, any gift of any size can make a difference today.
Whether that be $1, or, that be sharing this donation page and raising awareness.
Whether that be taking the time to read more about the unique hardships that LGBTQ youth face to learn how you can support in your everyday life. Let’s do our part to make a difference today.
So far, The Shrew has raised $100 to support The Trevor Project, but let’s see how much more we can do.
